The annual conference took place on 2nd May featuring key decision makers of both countries. For two years, leaders of the sector are coming together to discuss current trends and to exchange best practices and lessons learned about a sustainable energy mix.
After the opening by State Secretary Udo Phillipp and Assistant Minister H.E. Eng. Mohammed Albrahim, three panels dealt with hydrogen as a sustainable energy source, supply chain resilience and climate cooperation moderated by DelDr. Dalia Samra-Rohte, Delegate GESALO.

There are positive impulses: energy prices have fallen significantly in recent months, which has led to a better economic development particularly in Europe than was expected in the preliminary survey in autumn 2022. Global supply chains have stabilised, and fewer and fewer companies are affected by disruptions. More than 5,100 companies worldwide took part in the survey. 84 replies were submitted from companies located in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Learn more.

The Business Women IHK network brings together women entrepreneurs nationwide. It aims to strengthen women in business through networking, projects and policy advice.

From May 4th until 10th interpack, the trade fair for processing and packaging took place in Dusseldorf.
We were very pleased welcoming Gulf Packaging Industries Co. at booth C07, Hall 7.2 the leading manufacturer of Specialty BOPP & CPP Films.
Check out their 100% biodegradable BOPP films, primarily used for monolayer pouches, such as for bread and other bakery products.

From May 9th until 12th, 2023 the entire world of the logistics industry met in Munich. In May 2023. The Trade Fair Services team at GESALO was extremly glad to be part of transport logistic, the International Exhibition for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management.
It was a great pleasure to welcome many visitors and to connect them with the key players in the Saudi market who exhibit in halls B1 & B2.
