The German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO) is hosting a conference with a training session on Building the Circular Economy in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on November 27 and an additional training session in Dammam on November 28, 2023. |

In Octobert, Dr. Tillmann Rudolf Braun of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection visited Riyadh to participate in the MENA Climate Week 2023.
As part of the energy dialogue, the delegation met with key decision-makers on the topics of hydrogen, the circular economy and carbon capture. With various initiatives, Saudi Arabia aims to reduce CO2 emissions, use resources more efficiently and expand renewable energies.

The opening of the Wilo Regional Headquarters and Assembly Facility took place in Riyadh.
By expanding their activities in Saudi Arabia, the company is responding to the high demand for German technology and research in the Saudi-Arabian market.
Dr. Dalia Samra-Rohte, Delegate of the German Industry, congratulated the Wilo leadership and highlighted the relevance of its pumps and water management solutions for the growing water treatment sector in Saudi Arabia.

ESALO travelled to the Eastern Province to meet with Henkel.
The company together with their Saudi partner BCI celebrated the inauguration of a new product line.
With their hotmelt adhesive technologies, Henkel contributes to the local and regional packaging industry.

GESALO attended the first edition of the #SaudiEUInvestmentForum.
The event was opened with a speech of HE Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih and other high-ranking officials from both the European Union and Saudi Arabia. GESALO emerged into fruitful discussions with various stakeholders.
