Saudi Arabia is playing an increasing role in the logistic sector, driven by the National Transport and Logistic Strategy. Besides logistic zones, the Kingdom aims to become the new logistic hub in the region with the Saudi Landbridge connecting the Red Sea with the Arabian Gulf. The ambitious transportation and infrastructure goals of the Kingdom were showcased on the Inno Trans Exhibition in Berlin.

The Saudi government is planning to invest more than SAR 1 trillion (USD 267 billion) in its logistics sector. As H.E. Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser announced in his speech at the Global Logistics Forum on October 13, 2024, SAR 200 billion of the total amount already has been deployed.
