Saudi Arabia is opening its mining sector to international investors with new laws that simplify market entry. Over 250 exploration and 34 mining licenses have been granted since 2020, creating opportunities for German companies in technology and equipment for exploration and processing. The Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh was an excellent opportunity for the German companies to highlight their Mining Technology, Services and Equipment and the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO) is happy to support the companies in the Saudi mining sector.
