Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive networking event for Spielwarenmesse. The guest of honor was Mr. Florian Hess, Executive Board Member of the Spielwarenmesse, who gave the Saudi guests from the toy industry a great insight into the Spielwarenmesse 2026. The event was enriched by the contribution of Mr. Riyadh Aouad, Head of Sales at Samaco, himself a long-time visitor to the Spielwarenmesse. |

In September, the Bavarian representation together with GESALO in cooperation with the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Landesentwicklung und Energie and with Medical Valley EMN e. V., organised a group trip to Riyadh and Jeddah.

In the end of August the GESALO team attended the New Global Sport Conference in Riyadh, showcasing the latest developments in the gaming and e-sports sector as well as current developments in the Kingdom.
An important part of the Kingdom's Vistion 2030 is the development of the sports and e-sports sector. Since 2024, Saudi Arabia has hosted the E-World Cup, which has become one of the world's largest e-sports events. German companies are supporting the organization of the event and the further ongoing developments in this sector.
