Dear Readers,
The Fall 2025 AHK World Business Outlook ranks the MENA region as the strongest business region globally! The positive business environment and growing opportunities are reflected in an increase in bilateral trade between both countries.
The thriving relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Germany has been further strengthened by two high-level visits: H.E. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and H.E. Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health. On both occasions, GESALO had the honor of organizing roundtable discussions with German company representatives from the industries.
Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in AI as part of its economic diversification strategy, and German companies are actively contributing to this transformation across multiple industries. Our focus topic of this GSBM issue “Artificial Intelligence” showcases the innovative use of AI by German companies in Saudi Arabia throughout.
